Purse

I was originally creating this purse for my shop, but I've since fallen in love with the soft velvet strap and bohemian fabric.

This purse has three pockets, one zippered, the other two open. I am in love with it.

It is made entirely with thrifted fabric, sheets, and even a vintage handkerchief, all bought from my local goodwill. The lace is vintage victorian lace, tea dyed by me. Seriously, this purse cost me about 50 cents to make. I bought a big bag of fabric for like, $4, and still have a TON left over.

If your soul was a purse, what would it look like?

  1. I guess it would be a problem for crafty business owners if they were to fall in love with all the crafts they make! You really got a great deal on the fabric! I think your purse looks very much like it fits you perfectly. I'm not a purse girl at all--I carry one because my wallet and keys don't fit in my pocket, but I'd never carry one if I didn't have to. Sometimes I make Angel carry it.

  2. oh man, i love that bag! if my soul was a bag, it would have a looong strap, because my mind tends to drift away, but i can always be pulled back. and it would have to be soft with lots of space, because i am always toting around tons of stuff.
