How to Comment on a Blog

Perhaps this should be called How *Not* to Comment on a Blog.

1) Don't whine.
We've all recived comments like this. I hate it. Don't comment on my blog if you are only desperate for me to go to yours. I won't visit.
seriously.
2) Don't Troll.
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
I will also cry.
3) Try not ask me a question I already answered in my blog post.
not amused.
4) Basically, just have fun and be yourself!
unless you're this guy...
The best comments I've received are ones that share about how much my blog has touched them or reveal something they've learned! I really enjoy reading personal comments, and I always comment back because I'm really interested in seeing the person behind the post!

Coming to you via Katherine's Corner. We have a new blog and it's nice to know when someone takes a few moments to let you know that they've visited your post. I agree with Katherine from "Katherine's Corner": most comments make you feel good (like a warm hug)!
