My Ocean is a Scarf

I finally finished knitting this scarf. I cast it on my needles over six months ago--and kept putting it down out of sheer repetitiveness. We all have project like this, don't we? Well, I'm proud to say it is finally done, blocked, and seamed up! The variegated yarn kinda reminds me of the ocean. Beautiful... Now, on to the next project, that include arm warmers for a blogger friend of mine.
This scarf is for sale in my etsy shop.

I found your blog by Googling "stay at home wife with no kids." I'm having trouble coping with being 27 and feeling like we live in such a driven society. My hubby and I have no idea whether we want kids but me being home taking care of our house and kids is what we want. How do you cope?

I've never really thought about how to cope. I just live. I've always dreamed about owning a small, crafty business, and staying at home to look after my husband and the house. I try to keep myself busy--and if anyone says anything negative to me, I simply tell them this is my dream, my life, not theirs, so don't judge me. Sometimes I feel guilty, like I've got an easy life--and yes, I do know that I am blessed to be able to stay at home. We live without internet, and no cable, through this is more by choice now then budgeting (I do have an iPhone just no house internet)

I guess I cope by staying busy. I like to make things, I like to organize, I even enjoy doing dishes. I want to volunteer some of my time to help people, like kids in homes or teaching others how to sew or knit. I am Christian, so I enjoy having time to devote to God. Hope this answers your question! Thanks for your comment!
