Wearing

Spring is just around the corner. I can taste it and I couldn't be more excited! I'm ready for warm, and green (literally, my yard is brown...) and camping trips!
I'm trying to wear all my favorite sweaters this week. Think I can do it? Well, since I got rid of a ton of clothes I only own 8 sweaters now. So I think I can actually get away with it.
This sweater was dubbed "the grandmother" by my significant other. However, I don't think my actual grandmother would wear it, she is a very very classy lady with the fashion sense of Audrey Hepburn. We have totally different styles--I would call my style a mix between boho and kawaii. And I'm okay with that because it means I get to wear this sweater. Yay!
Guys, I know I just posted a few days ago about my 6 month spending freeze but then modcloth posted this pineapple sweater and I just think it was made for me. I don't know what to do, but right now I'm dreaming about it.

What have you been wearing lately?

Your style is adorable :) I don't even think my style can be named. Jk, it can be named "99% hand-me-downs, and a handful of semi-tasteful items mostly not chosen by me." I have never been particularly fashionable haha :P Lately I've been wearing pajama pants. The more stressed I get, the more I wear them! I guess they're comforting haha. And even 2/3 of those are hand-me-downs! Mostly, my goal when getting dressed is "try not to look like a hobo."

My personal shopping rule is to not buy clothes much. I don't buy things just because they're a really really good deal...but that means that when I come across something that was made for me, that really is "true love" as much as clothing could be...I do buy it. Because I do have the kind of personality to remember stuff like that. I said "no" to a dress I should have said "yes" to five years ago! haha...it's not a serious thing, but for me, it's worth it to have a closet filled ONLY with clothes I truly enjoy. And that pineapple sweater looks just like you!

Ahh, I can't wait for camping trips either!!! I just got a fantastic new tent & everything... and the weather is perfect! Which also means.... I just had to pack away my own sweater collection. Being Floridian means I have to limit my sweater wearing to two or three months a year, or risk overheating. Luckily for my sweater loving self, I just switch to light cardigans, much to the dismay of my fiance, who says I was wearing my grandparents clothes long before Macklemore!
