Reuben had a great birthday! It was glorious. He opened his presents after breakfast and he loved them. Then daddy took him out to a special lunch at buffalo wild wings--Reuben's choice--while I made frosting for his cake and prepped his birthday party food. He wanted egg salad sandwiches and watermelon which we were happy to provide! Reuben also made his own cake, a German chocolate cake. I only made the frosting due to time constraints. Everyone said it was amazing!
Both of his close friends, Danny and William (and their families) came to celebrate at the pool and it was perfection. They played happily for two hours!
This is how I found him the next morning when I rolled out of bed.
My little baby boy is eleven years old. Daddy got him a Hogwarts letter and that made us all laugh. I'm so proud of Reuben and so happy to be his mom. God is good. He starts 6th grade in January and he's just such a joy every day. Thank you God for Reuben!
