Here is an outfit I wore on Christmas Eve last week! Because of the weird weather and the "hot flashes," I've been wearing layers and leaving my coat a home when we go out. I also think its so interesting how much red is still in my hair from way back (two years ago) when I dyed it with henna. They obviously were not kidding on that "permanent" label.
So, my clothes. Well, I found this "boyfriend" sweater at Goodwill, as well as the pants and the classic button down I'm wearing underneath my cardigan. All at different times, of course. But they all go so great together, and I love this whole look. It's cozy and very warm.
The day before I took these pictures I tee-shirt curled my hair. It was way bouncy and fun! My husband took me out to Olive Garden for part of my Christmas gift and it was a wonderful evening of expensive entrees and cheesecake and wine...anyway, the next day my hair looked like this!
Hope you all had a great holiday!

I love this outfit, that sweater is super cute!
Our weather has been super warm this year, too! We've had barely any snow, and just a ton of rain and temperatures in the high 30's and low 40's. Normally this time of year it's in the teens with at least a foot of snow! In ALASKA!
Okay, I don't know what you guys are talking about with randomly warm weather because it's crazy cold here. 8 degrees, windchill makes it feel like -5. And henna is scary permanent. Have you ever seen it used on nails? I use the henna dyes for temporary tattoos, but it wears off quickly on your skin. Some friends dye their nails and it lasts till your nails grow out...
Henna should read: FOREVER! Your natural color is so pretty!
I love te whole outfit! Button downs and cardigans are my jam! Great ensemble! Glad you got to go out for dinner with your hubs- sounds fun and yummy!
I love the colors in your sweater against the red of your hair! The first picture is perfect.
I've really wanted to try henna. I've wanted red hair for a long time, I've dyed parts of it red before but never all of it. I'm too chicken to try henna though because I know it lasts forever. Hmph.
We're sitting pretty at -35F right now (ten degrees warmer than this morning!), so I guess you could say I'm jealous of your weather! :)
Love the sweater/button down combo and your beautiful hair! Your curls are amazing. Sounds like you had a wonderful night out, too!
I love the outfit! We're up to our knees in snow up here.
I love this outfit! Different from what you usually wear, but very cute all the same. And your hair curls beautifully.
